HDPE pharmaceutical square jars are made from 50 g to 2 kg, including 100 g, 500 g (also with a child-resistant cap), 1 kg and 2 kg sizes and a 2 kg jar with a handle. They are used for pharmaceutical powders, veterinary supplements, bulk tablets and Ayurvedic powders.
Square HDPE jars are widely used for pharmaceutical powders, granules, veterinary supplements and bulk tablets. They are strong, keep moisture out and use shelf and carton space better than round jars.

How to pick the right size
Jar sizes in grams are a guide only: the real fill weight depends on how dense your powder is. A light protein powder needs a bigger jar than a dense mineral mix of the same weight. Our guide powder jar capacity: grams vs ml shows how to calculate it, and the nutraceutical jar guide covers protein and Ayurvedic products.
Closures and accessories
- Wide screw caps with induction-seal wads for a moisture-tight, tamper-evident seal
- Child-resistant (CRC) caps on selected jars
- Measuring spoons and scoops to pack inside the jar
Square or round jar?
Square jars save shelf and carton space and give flat label panels. Round jars are easier to scoop from and suit wrap-around labels. Many brands use both: square for pharma and veterinary, round for sports nutrition.
